PHYSIOTHERAPY OF THE CAVALIER
Horseman for more than 20 years and physiotherapist passionate about movement, posture and performance. I found that there were no specialists able to take charge of the rider as a full athlete.
In the equestrian environment, the rider is often the forgotten link. However, its physical condition conditions the comfort, balance and performance of the horse.
Taking care of the rider is to optimize the duo.
That's why I chose to devote myself fully to the physiotherapy of the rider in order accompany each practitioner to a functional, stable and confident body, for a more harmonious and efficient riding.
In parallel, I continue training in equine physiotherapy, in order to offer a complete and comprehensive management of the cavalier-cheval duo.
My goal: to help you move better, climb better, and communicate better with your horse.
MY APPROACH
Rehabilitation after injury
I guide riders in their return to riding after injury, whether sporty, traumatic or related to repetitive gestures. I'll accompany you through Individual rehabilitationwork focused on limitations and pain, and optimal restoration of functional abilities.
The objective: a gradual, secure and sustainable return to the saddle.
Postural adjustment
Each rider is unique: j based on a given problem. How? By improving symmetry, stability and synchronicity of aids, to reduce compensations and thus promote connection with your horse.
The objective: to make every gesture more precise and effective, while reducing the risk of injury to you and your horse.
Performance optimization
To go further, I propose a Custom monitoring to develop a functional, resilient and harmonious body, by working on reinforcement, recovery, mobility, motor control and proprioception.

PROCEEDINGS AND CARRIED OUT
1. Real-life review and analysis
Your balance sheet decomposes into two-stroke.
First of all, I want you observe directly in your stables during a climb session to analyze your posture and interactions with your horse, in order to highlight your strengths and detect any imbalances.
The next session is held at the Cabinet (Physio Corner, Petit-Lancy), where we perform functional, manual and force tests to establish a personalized follow-up tailored to your needs.
Note: for balance sheets post-injury rehabilitation, The total balance sheet is carried out directly to the firm to ensure accurate and secure support.
2. Treatment implementation
At the end of the review, a personalized treatment plan is developed to meet your needs and those of your horse, while respecting your goals.
It combines:
- Manual techniques (mobilization, dry needling, myofascial hooking, k taping...)
- Targeted reinforcement
- Mobility, motor control and proprioception exercises
- Specific exercises to do at home
Cabinet sessions use the appropriate equipment to optimize your results, improve your posture and balance.
3. Regular monitoring and re-evaluation
Support generally spreads over nine meetings, punctuated by regular reassessments to optimize your evolution.
The video analyses are performed during treatment to adapt exercises, load and therapeutic progression.
