Hand surgery: 5 essential tips to recover well
After hand intervention, the aim is to protect reparation, limit the withdrawal and prevent complications. Here is a clear guide for the first days/weeks.

1) Observe post-operative instructions
Surgeon's instructions (type ofimmobilization, dressings, authorized movements, hygiene) are your driving thread. They reduce the risk of infection, bleeding or wound opening.
Tip: Write down the instructions in your phone and schedule reminders (pansing, icing, medication). -
2) Move parts not operated
Even if the hand is partially immobilized, the mobility of the free fingers, wrist or elbow (according to medical agreement) to limit withdrawal and swelling.

3) Watch for unusual signs
